I don't have an offer but after looking for .... four months I'm about over it. I know interviewing is not one of my skills, I've thankfully gotten interviews but only a handful of offers and nothing that hits the number I would like (not even that much, 75k) for a business analyst role. Affirma however seems to need to fill a particular role and quickly so I have my prayers set on this role which would pay what I want. I just wanna know what the culture is like, do they help you learn and invest in your development? How do they treat contract employees? They said they will try to allocate me to a different project once my project is over but Idk how much I would trust that. I'd be on the Microsoft engagement so I know I would be using things such as powerbi which would help me with most roles in the future so I def want it, I just don't want to be scrambling in a few months. #affirma #consulting #contractor #offer
I don’t know much about Affirma. But if you’re interested in exploring business analyst roles at CapOne DM me. They’ll easily offer 100k+. I can refer/help. (I take case interviews)
Just about 100% of the Microsoft vendor companies like Affirma, Logic20/20, and others are pure garbage. I would take the role as a last resort. Don't stay long.
if there are no other offers and the pay is what you’re looking for, stay for experience then dip would be my advice- try to get your role converted to FTE at microsoft. i worked at a consulting firm similar to affirms
Affirma truly has one of the crappiest interviewing processes I’ve seen. They’ll get rid of you at the drop of a needle, even after a number of 3-5 successful interviews
The app fishbowl is what you are looking for. Teamblind is probably the wrong forum to share your concerns
