Amazon Seattle vs Microsoft India
I have an offer from Microsoft india and also an international transfer within amazon itself. Which should I go for? Amazon Seattle: SDE2: 140k base + 66k stocks Total TC: 206k Microsoft: Team: Dynamic 365 Level: L61 Compensation: 30L base + 10L 1st year + 6L performance bonus + 100k stocks(vesting period 4 years with 25% vest each year) Total TC for an year comes out: 60L (assuming 50% of joining bonus) Current TC: SDE2: 30 base + 15L stocks = 45LPA YOE: 3.5

Amazon US is better option. Dynamic 365 is not the best team in MS.

This. D365 is full of long-timers and adds no value on your resume. And keep it in mind, moving internally within MS is sometimes more difficult than getting hired externally. Stay away from d365 if salesforce is not your dream company 😂
I would suggest Amazon Seattle! It will be a different experience to live in North America. If you don’t like it, you can always come back!
Knowledge and work you will get in D365 is non transferable. Stay away from any microsoft proprietary tech stack. You will find many long timers in this org, who just know how to rest and vest. Below average seniors. Goto Amazon US and gain exposure.

MS sounds a sweet offer. You can go with MSFT offer of you want to like like 👑.. Else move to Amazon US
