I am currently on STEM OPT and I am pregnant with expected due date in April and lately I am feeling stressed due to work pressure and it is impacting my health condition. I plan to take FMLA leave, the company policy states that the job will be protected for the duration of the leave but not paid. But being on STEM OPT, I am not sure if we can avail this benefit. #workvisa
What’s your husband doing? Why are you worried? You should be covered under him.
He is on STEM OPT too. My worry is if I take FMLA and didn't get any pay will it be considered as "out of status" for that duration.
