Hi, I am having offers from eBay, Walmart, and Lyft! I am inclined towards Lyft because of work but I am concerned about the stability and RTO policy! I am looking to stay for a longer period at a company which I am joining! Please provide feedback. Current TC: 0 (Impacted in RIF) eBay: Senior Software Engineer (MTS1) Base: $200K RSU: $30k/year Bonus: 10% Sign-on Bonus: $30K Walmart: Senior Software Engineer Base: $175K RSU: $15k/year Bonus: 15% Lyft: Senior Software Engineer (T5) Base: $185K RSU: $100K/year Bonus: $0 #Lyft#eBay#Walmart#Tech#SoftwareEngineering
How long was the interview process? Lyft seems the best but eBay might be better if you prioritize stability
If you prioritize stability, I wouldn’t pick ebay. Constant reorgs and layoffs are starting back up. We took a break from them during the pandemic, but likely going back to layoffs 1-2 times per year.
eBay recently had layoffs in 2024 start, but are you expecting more layoffs this year? How is the morale within the company?
For X4, is it 50k per year RSU??
I think it’s $45k per year rsu spread across 3 years.
Should be 50k spread across. It’s the same for all X4s
Which ones are remote?
All are Hybrid roles
Did Lyft reduced their salaries?
Negotiate with Lyft. Base can cross 220k
