After our director set unreasonable deadlines for a very important project that would save Amazon multi-million $s of tax money every year, my 2 teammates and I worked late nights and weekends for 2 full months (consistent 70+ hour weeks) and successfully launched the project on time and presented it to our director. Yes but if you explicitly expect someone to continuously put in 70+ hour weeks because YOU fucked up in your planning, the least you could do is acknowledge and reward them

I have received spot bonus of a few grand launching much smaller projects at Google.
Next time you order that same day delivery, pass on the gc to your fellow employee knocking on the door, hopefully it will make him happy.🙂
