If you can crack facebook you will be able to crack other companies as well. So fb is not the only company on the planet.
But lately getting interviews has become very difficult!
DM if you want referral for Splunk or Databricks!
Well when did you interview? If you cracked them all and sounded arrogant, like most jobs out there that's a no no. But usually people are returning from vacation or something like that. That said, you should be fine if there was good chemistry. Usually good news takes about a week tops.
I interviewed last week Monday. I behaved politely throughout the interview 😊 how long does it take for people who end up with an offer?
Well you should hear soon. Maybe the recruiter himself is on vacation. Crazy pandemic.
Everyone keep saying kimball for data modeling, but that book is bloddy huge. Did you actually read the whole shit?
First two and last two chapters are must read and then just go through atleast 3 chapters of use cases.
I found this blog very helpful before starting Kimball book - https://www.holistics.io/blog/how-to-read-data-warehouse-toolkit/ Also instead of going through the whole book, I went through below 3 videos and read couple of case studies from the book (particularly e-commerce one). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DspXXZrSVRk&t=30s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk2a91BSMf8&t=499s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m49PclOSKpg Hope this helps. Good luck!
Let us know when you hear back! I have my onsite later this month and same years of experience.
