Facebook: E5 Interview Process
What is the interview process for Senior Software Engineer (E5 level) at Facebook? How many rounds on coding and system design?
2*45 min Coding, 1*45 min Design and 1 * 60 min Behavioral + Coding.
1 phone screen (coding), and at least 2 coding, 1 systems design, and 1 behavioral (with some coding in it) at the onsite. If they think thereās a possibility of E6, you might have more of any of those things. Your recruiter will be able to give you the exact schedule if you ask.
I believe same set of rounds for E4 as well. Is this correct? If so, what factors will be involved to determine whether candidate can go into E4 or E5 levels?
Itās largely about your behavioral and systems design responses, as well as your past experience/company. You need to show that you have leadership and/or advanced experience.
How about E4 -- is it the same process in terms of rounds of interview etc.?
