I’m interviewing for a role at Facebook - Business Integrity Associate, Technical. Recruiter said role is 40% technical, development, data etc. However, they said this is a role for IC2 - I thought entry level at Facebook was IC3/E3 for technical field. Perhaps this is more tech light? What should I expect as IC2 and is there a fast roadmap for progression? Also if anyone has any more insight about the role would much appreciate :)
Non tech ops role
Thanks for reply. On the application it said “Business Integrity Associate, Technical” - do you know how/if this would differ from the regular non-tech role?
Lower pay by a lot and work in ops lol. Non tech is usually one level lower than its tech counterpart. So ic3 ds (new grad) = ic4 ops. The plus side is heard ops wlb is great
@op, Could you please share some insights about the interview structure? Any tips? I just received a call for a similar but non tech role at NYC
Happy to help! Recruiter call - 30 mins. Asked about high level experiences to see if I fit job spec roughly. HM call - 30 mins. We talked a few basic questions about me and he told me about the role. The main question was related to a project I did in the past related to data. I think he appreciated structural thinking, discussing trade offs in key decisions of the data project, and a positive result at the end I.e. the project yielded some success. 4 rounds - these were 45 mins each. Asked me about conflict resolution, how I would design some data system, and working with other teams. Your recruiter will call you before this round tho to explain more about what is to come! Hope that helps - feel free to DM me with more specific Qs
Hi geiX35, I have my HM interview next week. I am out of dms can you please dm me with more info
Appreciate your help, OP. Thank you. I couldn't get past the recruiter call though. Received the email today 😓
