At FB there is no difference in compensation between onsite and remote if the location is the same. Someone in SEA will make the same if they are full remote or not.
Google had an informal tool someone made to help be directionally correct, but comp adjustment wasn't finalized until you had applied for the specific location and been approved. They treat NYC and SF as top pay, everything else is a % discount from there. Mint was an adjustment to base, no stock change. But that could be different in future years. Either way, with it. The pay differential isn't worth living in NY or CA, just for the taxes alone.
