What is the environment currently like at Facebook? Is any body legitimately worried?

Considering Nielsen followed suit, extremely high tension.
It's not a high point, and yeah it seems there's been an uptick in departures, but largely I feel we're all in this together, and most importantly, we want to do right by the world. I believe strongly in the latter, and wouldn't be here otherwise. It'll get better as we do better.

I’ve seen an uptick in departures. The old mentality is gone here. Most departures were here during the private days too. This atmosphere is horrible.

Work life balance in my org is a serious issue. Culture is also getting worse while manager turnover goes up.
I am being used to do 3 people’s work. Still no appreciation and doesn’t make a shit differences even if you do good work as long as the perception is not so

It feels.like a much bigger corporate right now and too much politics in every team
Mark my words, the way recruitment happening with crap people they have to very soon needs to start layoffs

Facebook work culture is worst. Every full time employee thinks they only know everything and rest all don’t know anything. All recruitment is screwed up. They themselves don’t know what they want. One side requirement says one thing though there are 200% match profile there they will say they want a “generalist”. They seems lack of knowledge that anybody who got basic understanding and experience can work in Facebook. In short it’s most Hyped up company, reality is zero. If this continues same way then it’s going be history in 8-10 yrs.
