I know it might sound boring but what’s FB tech stack? Are microservices often used? What’s the devops like? K8, docker? Java on backend? Js? What else? #tech
FB-tech bad. All in house things, worse than open source. FB building before open source version existing, but not keeping up to date. lot of php 🤮, but own dialect of php: hack. TC worth learning stuff you never using outside FB
Nice username bro
In addition to what is above - they use c++, python and a little Java for infra. Flow on the front-end.
Thank you. Would you say the same For London team?
I'd like to know this too
Guys, would you say it’s all the same across workplace, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc? Is it all on hack?

“Rest more than j devs” why do you mean?
Hack on backend, glorious version of php
