What’s the salary for Program Manager at Facebook? It’s a technical role and requires SQL. Minimum experience is 5 years. The position is in Menlo Park. The recruiter told that minimum base is 120K. He told however it will depend on my interview performance and the budget of hiring manager. Isn’t that too low? I was expecting atleast 150K. Any idea how much is a standard value for RSU/Joining Bonus?
I wouldn't take a program management job that required me it to know a technical skill. Project and program managers don't do s***, they just make sure you do it on time, within the budget, and witbin the scope of the project
Sprint and Facebook are totally different!
This tells me you don’t know shit about what a PgM does. :). I wish my job was just to make sure it’s on time, on budget and in scope.
I’ve got a role for program manager, fb recruiter says it’s technical role. Shouldn’t it be called a technical program manager or is it not how fb distinguishes between tech and non tech roles.
Not necessarily, everything is technical at FB.
OP, is this the role you are interviewing for? https://m.facebook.com/careers/jobs/a0I1H00000LCORYUA5/?q=Program%20manager%20SQL&location=menlo-park
Seems low. Depends on level of the role, 5 years of experience does not sound like a L4, but that comp is an L4's
What’s the range for this position for L4/L5
