Hi folks, Can someone explain me $ to RSU calculation ? If I'm granted for example 480K over 4 years, thats 30K every quarter. How do they transform the 30K into RSU ? Do they each quarter divide 30K by the average stock value ? which means I always get 30K$ whatever the stock value is ? Or do they do the calculation at day one ? ie 480K/200 (assuming average stock at day one is $200) which leads to 2400 RSU, ie 150 RSU per quarter ? thus $ granted will vary based on stock value. Thanks for your help.
Option 2 , with average stock price as last calendar month avg price
Is the RSU vesting quarterly at FB? I assumed it was every 6 months, like at most companies
Just curious how does refereshers in fb works?
How do refreshers work? And why do they take the average of the month before u join to calculate 4 years worth of sTock?
You are NOT granted monetary amount. You are granted a number of RSUs that are worth your grant amount at the time of granting. If stock price goes up so will your quarterly vests. If it goes down ... In your case if you are given 500k grant at $200 share price that’s 2500 rsus that will be vested quarterly.
Previous month average of stock price. Suppose you join in July they will take stock price average of june to calculate your total rsu
