How is FB's rotational software engineer program? Interviewed for full time but received an offer for this program instead. Would like to know more about the program. What are the reasons for people not getting a full-time offer at the end of the year? There are 90% chances of getting an E4 offer, just curious about what could be the reasons for not receiving an offer.
Mostly for people without tech background, diverse candidates, quite easy interviews, almost guaranteed e4 offer after a year. Really good deal imo
Do the manager/mentor give you heads up on chances of getting the full-time offer? Just wanted to make sure that there are no surprises when not receiving an offer
I've worked with 2 rotational engs before both of which who converted to FTE. They both worked really hard and were willing to learn to deserve the FTE conversion offer. I'm not familiar with people who don't end up getting the offer, but you would have a regular manager who should be giving you periodic feedback during your rotation, so it would be clear whether or not you're performing as expected.
Offer details? Did you accept?
How has your experience been in the rotational program?
What’s the interview like? Leetcode medium?
Can you give some info about this program? Just curious what it entails.
It's a 1-year software engineering program, similar to Google's residency program
