Facebook culture / principles

Is there a blog, deck, or article that outlines Facebook culture? Netflix, Uber, and Amazon publish detailed info about leadership and culture, but haven’t seen much from FB.

Facebook doesn't have principals. I think that's a Microsoft thing. They might have principles though.

Nice one

Amazon ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ Sep 12, 2017

Amazon has both!

Do you know where I can find the Netflix/Uber leadership principles and culture? Also for Amazon are you referring to the 14 leadership principles? Those honestly don't tell much

Amazon DEPk35 OP Sep 12, 2017

Amazon LPs don’t say much, but you can find a lot written about them, but not seeing anything related to FB.

Omg, Netflix gave me a 200page bible to cram for their culture. They also had 1 round of interview on that!

Had the same experience. Looks like culture fit is critical for nflx roles

Facebook is huge into censorship so as long as your opinions and political stances match the typical bay area sentiment you should be good.

Seriously? Uber throwing shade on any other company's culture?

Uber ochl84 Sep 12, 2017

Nearly everyone I've worked with from Facebook was vapid, not helpful, and self indulgent. Mostly d-bags in my honest opinion.

FB leadership talks in terms of 'mission'. Mission to connect people. And advertise the hell out to them.
