How ugly is this inside Facebook? Is it being overblown? or are the inmates running the asylum? https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/5/17939054/facebook-employee-protest-joel-kaplan-brett-kavanaugh
Seemed like a nothing story based on reading, people are allowed to find things objectional. Leadership are allowed to comment how they feel. Leadership are then allowed to recant their words. Probably the only thing interesting there was, "Kaplan was hired precisely because of his deep ties to the conservative world". Seems silly to complain about bias.
Rightist don't expect workers to voice their, it's considered insubordination. And women shouldn't talk loud

Ex-facebook here. FB has increasingly become a left leaning echo chamber over the years. Conservatives at the company are afraid to be themselves because of backlash exactly like this. The very fact that they had to address this at the weekly Q&A shows how out of step FB, and California, is with the rest of the nation. Had Kaplan sat behind the accuser, this wouldn’t even be a story. But Kaplan did the unthinkable. He sat behind a nominee of a republican. http://www.axios.com/facebook-joel-kaplan-faces-kavanaugh-critics-town-hall-854eb64e-93a0-4649-b7dc-43116651e222.html
