Hello, could FB E5 engineers comment on offer for 175K base pay and 100K as stock grant for 4y (25K yearly)? Feels more like E4 for me.

Never heard of 25K/year even for E3
175K base seems like within the band and 15% of base as cash bonus for meeting expectations. Generally for E5 it is 300K+ RSU (vested over 4 years). I would imagine if it is SWE role as a 5, it is 100K yearly. Probably some miscommunication with the recruiter? Is it on your written offer?
Are you coming in as a SWE or is it Solutions Engineer or Production Engineer or something like that? The salary seems right but the stock is low for SWE.
SWE and PE stock are the same
It's 100k / year dude. Come on
SWE
May be you heard wrong and its 100 k per year. As the default E5 offer which FB comes up with is 175K base and 400k RSU
What's your YOE? If more than 2-3 then 100k over 4 years seems highly unlikely.
11 years in software development.
Lol
Base is ok but RSUs don't feel right. Non-tech?
100 over 4 years or 100 yearly?
100K for 4 years, or 25K yearly.
Can't be right, at E5 100k yearly is reasonable (and it's not even that good), not over 4 years lmao.
