Facebook onsite

1. first coding went well. Able to solve two problems. interviewer seems convinced and happy. 2. system design went well. able to drive the discussions. interviewer seems okay. 3. behaviral round went well. last 5 mins he threw a question and asked me to come up only algorithm. no coding. Able to provide the algorithm approach and he is good with that. 4. second coding didnt go well. spent more time defining the datastructure and then actual implementation. seems like more coding for me. could be categorized as hard since there there is a data structure definition here. provided the data structure ans suboptimal solution for the problem. E5 what are my chances here?

You did your best. Just relax and wait for now 🙂 I'm generally pretty positive when you walk out feeling you solved most of problems

Very true. I had a similar experience and ended up getting rejected. I hope you get to hear a different result.

I failed 2 FB interview onsites so far. All due to one Q that I didnt do well on each onsite. So yeah, probably a reject, sorry buddy. But at least they're cool about letting you apply again next ye

Tough if you didn’t provide a solution to all the coding challenges. For design and behavioral, you have given insufficient data.
