Facebook workday onboarding tasks
I am joining Facebook early January at Seattle WA USA. In a few days I will have workday enabled. As far as I have understood it has the following tasks: 1) Virtual Employment verification I9 2) HR - payroll 3) Tax election 4) Benefits 5) Emergency contacts Do I miss anything here? Does anyone have workday completed for US employers? How is the process of the workday? Current TC (Amazon): 350k FB TC: around 515k

Asked and got not a clear answer. Honestly they are slow answering
Yeah, but just deal with them. Honestly, Those things are too silly to deal with.. if you don’t do it on day 1, you will do it on day 10.. no worries..
Pardon the sassiness, but how can such questions come out with such TC?
Come on guys! I asked internally and got not a clear answer. There are tons of folks who have passed the same workday experience and wanted to see what it includes. If you don’t like the question don’t answer mate
How long did you background check take? And when did you get the relocation company email?
It took like 10 days. Seems a lot to me but it ended well ;) No relocation for me.
Nice - waiting on mine to clear. I accidentally got outed at my current job so I’m stressing. No reason not to pass, but I have two weeks left at current company before they walk me out lol
You will get emails for things you need to complete. The portal has steps for every step you need to complete. If you miss completing something, you will receive emails indicating incomplete onboarding docs.
I wouldn’t sweat it. If you miss anything you can complete it once you start. I was like a week late with my I9 stuff and nobody ever came after me.
@op are you starting Jan10th? What's the next date if someone wants to delay start? Also, how do you confirm that BG check successfully cleared on their end? is there a way to check that on the portal? Joining in Jan.
I have no idea for the next date. However BG check is not updated by the online portal. Email your recruiter for it.
