Facebook/Meta return to office
How is Fb/Meta thinking of returning to office so early when the case load is to the tune of 1.5million(the latest fig). Despite the booster, people have been falling sick! What is the urgency 🤔unnecessarily, others will follow too, someof which will ask people to wear a mask the entire day, which is so suffocating!

For me, a new hire, I either have to join wfo or wfh. So for me it's my start date
If you join wfo is your start date pushed to March 28? or is it WFH until march 28. curious because interviewing

Current return to office plans is March 28th or employees have to option to delay their return until July 5th. For employees who defer until July 5th, their salary will be adjusted to local cost of living if currently living outside of the specific city where their assigned office is located.
Can you help me better understand how does the pay adjustment work? Will it be effective after March 28 if people defer, or after the July 25th derferal period?
My understanding is that the pay adjustment will hit March 28th for those who choose to defer return to office and remain remote during the 3/28-7/5 window. Everyone is expected to be back in the office 7/5 or establish full remote status from there. If you establish full remote status, you have to commit to a full year of being remote and your pay will be adjusted to match your local cost of living.
What is an office?
Maybe I shouldn’t interview since my team just went full remote 🧐
