Feedback: crushed LP, borderline DSA (1 round didn't optimize the solution). FML Gotta go reply to all the recruiters that Dm me: amazon, oci, apple, sofi, Salesforce, snap, etc. Tc 200 before stock crash @330
How many times did u fail? Leetcode solve count? Yoe?
This is my 3rd time. 4yoe
Oh gosh..
I will be on my 5th attempt lol. Honestly I have given up hope, I just interview there cos why not.
This was my thought for this 3rd attempt. Now, I think i just wasted my time because i know i cant pass their interview. Gluck to you 👍
How long is the cool off period?
Try SDET then switch to SWE 😏
😂 Isn't it better to try SRE or AE?
🤣 true!
ouch.. didn't optimize the solution was enough to result in a rejection? so you got 3 H and 1 LNH it sounds like?
No specific ratings from recruiter. Base on my experience: I got NH (no optimization), LH (did ok but took hints and missed an edge case, SH (behavioral) H/SH
Was it an HC reject? Or was it the recruiter that said you didn’t have enough positive feedback?
Not Hc reject Just cant move forward after the interview
I think it means u did pretty badly
I did my second attempt recently and failed. It took me half an hour to understand one of the questions fully. I may not have the deep engineering/mathematical mind they are looking for, even though I have been in the industry many years. One of the topics that came up I intentionally skipped studying for because "it never comes up."
Thats what i told to my recruiter. She said it's supposed to be like that to ask or clarify the question. Then yes, it took me half of the time to understand it then think above solution then code it out. Interviewers told me to code Brute force first then optimize later. Well, no time left to optimize
I understand the clarifying of the question. I thought I had a firm grasp on the question but eventually my interview told me that I didn’t. It doesn’t matter because I wasn’t going to get the follow up question correct.
They called me out of the blue. I knew it was bad news. Gluck to u 👌
People need to stop interviewing there. The pay isn't the best and their interviews are idiotically not reflective of the work. Who cares about Google? FYI, I have never interviewed there.
Same thoughts but just no hurt to try. I have tried 3 times and probably won't try again. 😅

Google needs a bit luck to get in.
3 attempts wont make it. Probably I'm not the one who belongs there 😅
No they don’t deserve you
