Failed an online assessment test for amazon; can I apply again or wait?
Did poorly on online assessment, can I apply for other positions?
Is it team specific or generic? Position was for amazon devices(lab126)
Should be 6 months. Curious, were those LC problems? How many were you expected to solve?
Why would you want to immediately try again? This is an automated step 1. How do you think you’ll fair on-site with harder problems? It seems you need a lot more practice before trying again
True, I guess it was more to do with nerves than difficulty of the problem
Since it's just online assessment, there's no hard cool off period.
There is a 6 month period before which you can't take an OA again.
You can apply within a month. I had failed one but recruiter reached after 30-45 days and I cleared the entire 7 rounds with offer in hand.
I started looking for a job from new year, applied for amazon and got a response next day for interview, schedule after 2 days, failed horribly on coding part. Started Self preparation for job market, got another call from amazon in mid feb, and onsite interview in mid March (mostly delayed because I wanted more time to prepare) I didnt got the offer, but can tell that you should apply, you never know when it’s a hit rather than waiting 1 year I will wait for next 1-2 months before applying again
