10+ final rounds. I’ll get something right guys?? Just shoot me already.
I’m so sorry, that sounds really frustrating! Are you new to Product Management, or trying to move from a current Product Management job to another Product Management job?
Semi new so don’t have all the cases/ examples to draw from. Use inferences a lot.. “I would do it this way...”
That’s good that you can do the role play they’re asking you to do. KC1 and PM626 have some good insights I think. Mock interviews could be great! Maybe there’s something you missed regarding process (like describing how you would incorporate user feedback in another sprint)? Maybe you’re already doing this, but I think preparing questions that (a) show you’ve done a lot of research on the role and company and (b) demonstrate your interest in learning even more about them is key.
I did. Where do you figure out honest feedback from canned, “we just found someone better.”
It’s not them, it’s you.
Fuck this guy
Poor you
Hang in there till you get a hang of it. And once you do, you will make it just fine. Couple of interviewing tips, don't fall in love with a company or position, it sometimes can impact your performance. PM questions usually fall in 4 categories, each of those categories have step by step way of answering those, memorizes those steps by heart. Have faith, it will eventually fall in place.
I believe in you
I’m on the same boat, but there is nothing anyone can do about it. We just need to keep trying until we make it.
Yes there is! Improve what’s wrong on your end
But if no one gives a feedback it’s hard to figure out what exactly they didn’t like and what are the areas need to be improved.
Try to network and meet some experienced Product Managers. Once you have some connections that you can rely on, do mock interviews with them (with both behavioral and case study questions). They should be able to provide you with some honest feedback on where you need to improve on.
Like Chase said. Hang in there buddy.... Good luck on your next move. 🤛 what companies have you tried, Big FAANG?

Hang in. Most companies have policies not to tell you where you went wrong, but you can try to ask for feedback anyway.
