Just got a update from my recruiter that even though i cleared the coding and design rounds they are not making an offer as they didnt like my performance in the behavioral round. Has this happened to anyone else. I am just shocked!
behavioral round?
They have a 45 min behavioral interview as part of onsite
It's fairly common.
Hmm... what are they looking for there?
I think it’s mostly that you’ve been making progress in your career and taking on responsibilities commensurate with the amount of experience you have. Facebook doesn’t want to hire people who will never make it past being a junior engineer.
I guess you are Asian or Indian male
They think you come off as a jerk or are a perpetual e4 when e5 is the terminal level. Try again in 6months if interested
6 months? They told me the cooldown period was a year.
It's cause you weren't white
Nothing surprising about it. Culture and teamwork play a big role in determining a good fit. Do you even Gayle Laakmann, bruh?
The non trolling answers are the correct ones. We are looking for people who can work well with others and are self starters.
