I have worked at Microsoft and Amazon for more than 11 years now but after recent layoff, it has been difficult for me to clear interviews. Initially bombed couple of tech screens. After that, failed 5 interview loops and I am losing self-confidence now. Ask from the community- - if you have been in same situation, what has helped you to find the improvement areas and do better? - if you are in same situation, let me know and we can connect and help each other (DM me) - if you are on the other side of spectrum of effortlessly clearing interviews- please share some of your wisdom- would be really appreciated. Dude the bar is so much higher than 11 years ago. Absolutely brutal. Stay at your job and ride this wave. Itβll never be as easy as 11 years ago but it can get a bit easier if more jobs open up.
Yeah! Seems like I will have to either wait for some time for the dust to settle down or keep trying until all star aligns

Where are you looking? Did you try non tech companies?
Could you suggest some? I failed interview loops at Intuit, Rubrik, OCI and PayPal. Interview at Microsoft is stuck after 2 rounds because of some priority change in the org.
Also tried applying for some non-tech companies but for some reason they are not even considering for tech screens
5 yoe I failed SpaceX, byte dance, amazon, Microsoft (internal lol), and probably meta now. It's brutal out there no easy rounds π
How was Meta ?
Not bad until the last round of the onsite.
