Why are we acting like we are new to startup world? Investors invest in startups for their future potential not their current revenue. Instagram was snagged by FB for $1B when it had NO revenue. There are so many decade old multi billion dollar valued startups which are just money sink and have yet to make any profit and most likely never will.
Fast is not comparable in any way to consumer socials of 2012. Fast AF, Inc. (yes this is their corporate name, ROFLLLLLL) is moving fast AF toward the grave, and the world is better for it.
