Hello all, Does Facebook always don’t provide feedback after rejecting you? Wonder why ? Or is it for candidates who performed poorly.
Company - "We don't think you have enough experience in creating algorithms to move forward in this position." Candidate -"All I do is design at my current company!" Company- "oh shit, You do? Well never mind then. You're hired." It's too subjective (unfortunately) to waste the time. Despite being potentially valuable for improving. Take your no and don't suck next time.
What you said is making sense, but don’t want to take it ..
ideally feedback, if any were given, would be more along the line of what to work on an improve by the next year. Did well on X and Y, but can work to improve Z. It doesn't make sense as a negotiation attempt after a full evaluation and a no.
"Candidate can't form a lucid sentence. Not hired."
I got (very specific) feedback after failing the technical phone screen, and a year later the recruiter was able to look up the same feedback in the system to so I could use it to study in case I wanted to interview again. So in some cases, Facebook does give feedback
I was given feedback for all (well not yet for onsite), so I guess it depends on the recruiter.
Pretty much every company these days
Always don’t provide? I’ll start by practicing to express myself in a clear and understandable manner. 🍆
C'mon guys. Get off their ass. Every one of you know a HUGE majority of the CS population learned English as a second language.
Not over email - but you can ask to get on a call to give verbally
No feedback, to avoid legal issues
Why do some companies give feedback then? Like Netflix?
