I currently have my (moderate) portfolio managed by Wells Fargo advisors. Looking for some feedback on Fisher Investment to see if it is worth considering? Appreciate any key considerations or feedback of your personal experience. TC: 400K
#1 What coupang said #2 Fisher is an absolute joke
Thanks!
Totally agree.
You could probably save quite a bit of money (hundreds of thousands if not millions by retirement age) and get the same returns or better over the long term by investing in low-cost index funds instead (e.g., Vanguard SP500 index VOO)
Thanks, I have been thinking about the QQQ, VOO and VTI.
Is this a good time to move my portfolio to these index funds?
We use Fisher and have been very happy with their performance.. they charge 1.5% of AUM and have gained nearly 20% YTD for us
Over how long a period?
We started with them in Sep of 2023 but the 20% is just the gains they have returned in 2024 so far

Why pay a lot of money for a full service broker when you can just do your own online research and invest yourself?
Ya, I have been thinking that as well but the fluctuating market is a bit scary. I guess index funds are my best bet.
It’s a long term play. Dollar cost averaging means lower purchase prices at times and more shares. It all balances out if you have a long time horizon.
