Feedback on current interviews & more companies to apply to/refferals
Hey Blind community. Unfortunately i was laid off from a seed stage startup that i left AWS for in March (Stupid idea). Started my sales career at Oracle out of college in 2017 and have been in customer facing rep roles since 2018 and did 2.5 years at Oracle and AWS. Been having a lot of interviews so wanted feedback on what we be a good org to join and other companies to apply to. Also maybe what to expect on compensation. Thank you so much! I interviewed with 2 teams at Twilio. I ultimately turned down the offer because it seems like attrition is crazy high there. Over 6 conversations with employees, none of them had worked there more than a year. I asked about the make up of the team. They said everyone on the team has been at Twilio less than a year too.
Looks like AWS and Oracle is helping your resume I think confluent is top choice here so far Are you able to boomerang back to AWS?
I’m thinking about it but I don’t know if there is a certain time limit that has to go by before rehire. I’ve only been gone since 4 months
I think you’re good, I’m curious to know if you’ll get upleveled or a pay raise.
