Feedback on these StubHub teams? Payout, Universal Catalog

Hey everyone, I finished all the interviews with StubHub and was told I am moving to the offer stage for SWE2. They don't have final #'s yet but I was told TC would be around 330K. I was told the Payout and Universal Catalog teams are interested. Does anyone have any info on these teams they can share? How is the wlb/pressure? Is there a lot of churn/firing before 1yr vest? I'm curious since there's been some reported firings before the 1 year mark which seem rather fast, and apparently those people were not given feedback to improve (That Bytedance thread was quite alarming). Can any managers from StubHub speak on this? TC before layoff: 240K yoe: 4 #stubhub

Catalog team is responsible for getting all catalog data into our system, process and in the end expose for both internal and public consumption. It has a lot of challenges such as dealing with duplicates that aren’t worded the same, numerous languages etc. In terms of wlb, it will be a little challenging at first while you ramp up, but SH expects engineers to take on responsibility and deliver. It depends from person to person what that means in terms of wlb. Regarding layoffs before 1 year mark, it goes back to the delivery expectation. Requirements and expectations are clearly communicated, so employees will know if any changes are required to their performance.

There is no 1 year vest - stocks vest only after IPO.

I dont think that's true. We do have a double vest event to prevent us having to pay taxes on stocks that we can't sell. But nothing I've seen implied that we don't own the stock if we leave prior to ipo
