Feeling low
I have interviewed and got couple of offers in April and selected Amazon finally. Since I started interviewing I haven’t been accomplishing anything at my work I am just coasting. My manager gives me lot of freedom and I think I am using it as an advantage since April. This is making me feel low every day. I am not at all feeling motivated at my current work place to do anything. Part of it is because my manager is non technical and most of my team is distributed in work and works individually. Earlier I used to work with highly motivated and talented team but most of them left to other teams or the company. Also h1 transfer wait time is making me to loose interest on my new opportunity as well. Right now I am just waiting for amazon to complete my h1 transfer and doing absolutely nothing at my current work somehow barely making it sprint to sprint. I just wanted to share it here. TC: 120K New TC: 205K
Enjoy it while it lasts. You’ll look back to this time and wonder how could I be that stupid to not enjoy my free time. Esp if you’re joining Amazon
I am actually joining amazon because I heard projects/work is interesting and folks actually put in work because of pip fear. I would say deprived of interesting work at my current role made me choose Amazon though i had offer from adobe with higher TC

Can feel you bro, at least you’re already on the way out. I’m still just doing interview prep and this makes me feel even worse. Only thing that’s worked for me is to spend extra time with friends and family/outdoors.
Go take a vacation before you resign

How people usually enjoy doing work I am struggling to get up from my bed even. Due to this I opted for wfh in my next opportunity to get some order in my life even.
Research about your new team , brush up/ fill any gaps in your skillset or better still just go on a vacation !
