TC: 160 Edit: how many hours per week do you work? Do you find yourself working around the clock or feeling stressed? For me, just under 45 hours.
Principal designer. 230. YOE: 15
Senior with 10 YOE. 330.
Nice. How’s the work at GH? Also, what’s the ceiling for senior design pay? Feel like it’s low 300s. To break that 400 ceiling, is it basically just getting into UX management?
It’s great if you enjoy the developer space, it’s obviously very skewed towards technical audiences. Senior seems to range between 5 and 12 YOE these days so it’s not that straight forward, but anything in the 400+ range is either FAANG or your stock appreciated greatly. Management TC is pretty equal to staff in my experience.

C1?
hours worked?
Impressive! I’m guessing you’re senior or mid?
Sorry, I messed up by looping in mid + senior haha - do you mean mid? Didn't realize Google paid a lot for mid (L4)! Definitely going to have to look at that sometime in the future...if you could say, what's the most impactful or valuable thing a mid-level designer can do to land an L4 position at Google?

At that pay scale and seniority, how’s the workload? Do you find yourself doing more than 40 hours?
It’s better than one of the FAANG i used to work at. 40hr workload but sometimes less than that.

About $375k and I probably average 35 hours per week
I hear good things about Zillow design - very mature design processes. How do you like it there?
Also curious. Is Zillow still full remote friendly?
Wow! Roblox? Was that via job hopping or promo?
Congrats 🥂
