Hi folks - I have an upcoming panel interview with fidelity investments for a full stack role. Can anybody please advice on how to best prepare for it? Will it be more technical ? Or behavioral ? TC - 140k #interview #finance
Just don't, you won't make more $$ than you already do
Thanks. Also do you know if they have more rounds after the panel interview? Or its the last one?
I had one more culture behavioral, but I don't believe that's the norm
Depends on the team. Make sure you know what’s on your resume. They look for a good appetite for learning and growing. Usually they have 1-2 rounds only. If panel’s your first it will very likely be your last.
Thank you
Did you get the role?
Haven’t heard back yet. How much time did they take for you to get back?
A day
Just dont. They are a sweat shop with a really bad culture. Lots of nepotism. The culture is toxic. It will be a waste of time unless you want to be political and duke all of the bullies out of that company.
Feel ya. Any openings in yours?
Yes. We are hiring in multiple regions and across different skillsets. Hiring has slowed down a lot since last year. The leadership is still committed to the idea that people are our biggest asset. Lots of people left during the great resignation so the company did not even need lay people off.

How many real estate do you own
It’s just depends on the team but mostly they’ll not be hiring, they’re in market for someone who has done tdd, knows Kafka. Sets up the infrastructure works frontend like react and JSP j query cause they have pretty old tech stack which needs maintenance. Then of course they need some one who knows serialization in and out also needs to know about Kubernetes just in case. They had to be proficient with python and Go.
Did you interview recently? How was your panel interview experience?
As said they had a sme doing one thing and they want a mix SME. Waste of my 2 hours.
