Have an upcoming interview with a team from Fidelity institutional org (FI) and wanted to get an idea of the org’s wlb, tech stack and growth opportunities for SWEs Most reviews on blind are about Fidelity WI, PI so checking if anyone has knowledge on the FI org. I’m in FI now. It’s fine. Work life balance is phenomenal, I barely do anything all day lol. They’re just a follower of what PI does, but 2-3 years later. Tech stacks are old and there’s oddly no interest in upgrading to new technologies or tools. Growth opportunities are the same for SWE in all BUs pretty much. Levels and roles are the same. I’m a squad lead L7, base 140
@xoq thanks ! Are you based out of durham campus ? Also hows the RTO policy ?
I’m in jersey, and it’s fine, that’s enterprise wide, so it would be the same for all business units. Right now it’s 1 week a month mandatory, and since I’m a squad lead I’m encouraged to go in 2 days a week on the other weeks too, but it’s kind of relaxed right now. But gives you insight as to what’s coming next for all associates.
If you’re Indian, come on down you’ll love it and be among your people. If not, then stay away you’ll be marginalized.
