Currently in final rounds of interview with fidelity L7 Director software Engineering ,Durham I am expecting atleast 5-10% on my base. EXPERIENCE 11YEARS CURRENT COMPENSATION Charlotte area 180k base + 40kbonus +7% 401k (230k) Will fidelity consider your existing base when negotiating or they strictly go by position? $230K TC targeting a director position… Geez this is some serious title inflation
Everybody does not pay FAANG SFO salary.. this is Durham NC.. COL is much lower

18yrs yoe (165k base). 180k+ is for VPs/L8.
When did You join fidelity is it at level 7?? Can I know what other components like bonus and stocks for l7
principal Software engineer aka L6 makes 150k base with 25% bonus. I would say ask for 180k base at least. Fidelity tend to stick with what they offer. GL
