That offer sucks.
Does Dallas have any better places to work at?
Idk man. Maybe it could be a stepping stone? Mid level remote jobs in Dallas should pay 225k ish. Senior Dallas is like 300k. Sounds like they're low balling for geo based pay l, but if you can learn a lot there it could open up paths for you
Nope this is what non tech companies pay for SWEs in Dallas.
True I got low balled by some local recruiters. The local non tech companies will low-ball hard and pay 1/2 if they can. The only way out is to skill up and land high tier remote roles which is uncertain in this economy. Even so, I've gotten 200k cash offers from startups remote, so that might be a floor. Op's offer is great if he's breaking in. I'm just saying it's worth keeping their eyes open for more opportunity as they skill up
Not the best offer but it’s median pay for L4 in Dallas area for non tech companies. Dallas is full of these type of companies and hence they all pay similar. Ask for 120k base. I worked in the region for 5 years

Do we really need Product Managers? 🧐
Not a dev but looks a little low. That being said, I know a few people who work there and love it
