I’m evaluating a fidelity offer and am curious if they allow negotiation? Curious if anyone has had success asking for a higher base or a sign on bonus. Title: Director Base: $145k Bonus: 35% #offer #salarynegotiation

Ah then this is a decent offer. You can always negotiate for a better base or their internal shares. Interestingly enough, a quick Google shows Fidelity has an article on it as well https://www.fidelity.com/learning-center/smart-money/how-to-negotiate-salary
I don’t think they do sign on bonuses, you could get shares and maybe 3% bump on your base pay.
Go back at the base. Everything here compounds off that so you want to push it as far as they’ll go. Director of what though? Non-tech that’s pretty good. Tech I would try to get another 10-20k at least.
I received a sign on bonus to match the bonus I would have forfeited at my previous firm. Came in at senior manager level.
Atleast negotiate for Sign on. I was awarded 400 chairman’s share that’s worth 24k$. Try negotiating for atleast 500. They will be vested only after 2 years.
As others have said, definitely ask for shares.
What’s the location, if it’s MCOL or LCOL difficult to negotiate.
