"I currently have two internship offers and am trying to decide which one to take. I would appreciate any advice or thoughts! Offer 1: Fidelity Return offer (Pay $34 an hour, no need for housing because I live near the office) Offer 2: Walmart(Pay $2400 biweekly, so $30 an hour approx. ; Corporate housing in Arkansas, and $1600 stipend for gas and food) I am not sure if Walmart is significantly better than Fidelity. Still, since I already have Fidelity, I thought a change on my resume would look better than returning to the same company. Does it matter?" #tech #walmart #fidelity
If you are not white, don’t go to Arkansas
People in Arkansas are so racist. Once I visited restaurant during my internship at Walmart they delayed my order, table nearest to bathroom, rude waiter. They will not take order people are present. This all happened with me in Napolis restaurant. And its not just one Buffalo wild wings, the list is long.
All of my financial knowledge are from Fidelity. During the first 2-3 months, I got to learn stocks, bonds, 401K, IRA, etc. The intern is very likely to get return offer as FTE. 80% of my onboarding were interns. The only downside is 🥜 TC
Walmart Sucks and specially the internship. It’s better you stay away from this trash company.
Do you want to experience Arkansas? That would be the deciding factor for me
I'm not gonna tell him this but there's nothing to experience in Arkansas tf
Lol I feel the same way too I wouldn’t want to go there…but I’m sure some people like it there so I didn’t want to insult anyone
