I was excited to work with this global company and the postion was temp. to hire. But my outcome was disappointing and I felt like I should have left lot sooner. Because red flags were raised. I will own up to my mistake of being late. But recent events in my city, my car accident took a toll, and personal issuea. And she brought communication issues which I felt like had to do with when I asked her for help since she was either away, personal time off, meetings, etc. Since I only reported to her, so who else was I suppose to ask for help? When I asked her for help she would start spazzing. Grown people do not behave like that at a nice job and believe me working in retail I have seen lot worse. Issues: refused to do face to face meetings, when I asked for help she made me look like I was the crazy one, micro managing, expected me to pull solutions out of thin air, at times I felt like I needed to make up work since at times I had nothing to do at all, and blamed me for being careless when I followed up about past inquires since she did not get back to me when I asked about it earlier. Should I file a complaint with the company since my contractor that placed me there will try to make itself neutral or make me look like the suspect. So that is why it is better to directly file it with the company.
Sorry but your post is all over the place and difficult to follow. Are you sure your communication issues aren’t real?
Trying to be funny lol. First two paragraph means I was looking forward to working, but first few weeks into work I saw some red flags. I put them to the side and swallowed the criticism. Since I was new and had only few years of admin experience, but not much HR background. She took pride in saying I am good at training people under her wings and will always be there for me. People who talk like that are full of garbage. I had to take guesses on things and had one other employee who did help me when she was not around. And I only reached out to her when I had no other choice. Tech as allowed us to get work done smoothly, helpful, easier, etc. But when we mainly communicated via email with my manager it turned into a shit show since I am a visual leaner and not knowing a few things made it harder to explain it to her (so that’s what she meant by communication issues I had). However, she did have the time like an hour day for lunch with her close buddies. Hardly said goodnight or good morning, have a nice weekend, did not let me know she was out or working from home, and etc. I have only been here for about four months. While being here she was not around her desk physically for a month and a half: PTO, business trips, working from home, taking off to move to her new home, etc. When she was all over the place how am I suppose to seek help and when I did she was like another time because I am busy.
Which company?
Samsung.
