#meta #snowflake #amazon #google Sorry, but I've decided to delete the original post to protect my privacy now that it's available on LinkedIn. I'm removing it because I feel I shared too many personal details in both the post and the comments, which may not be beneficial for me as my future teams could easily identify me. Even though everyone discusses the TC, interview process etc anonymously on Blind, it's still considered confidential information, and I'd rather not be in a situation where I've revealed these details. Thank you all for the support and love I received for sharing the details. Feel free to reach out via DMs if you have any questions. Additional Update: Today, I received the Meta offer for the E6 position, and it's approximately $80K more than my other offer from #Snowflake. Since I was already planning to relocate, the decision is a no-brainer here.
Who .. what? Did I miss something ?
Some guy from blind posted him as “success story of the day” or smthg
Don’t know the history but still happy for you
Yasss I love hearing these stories! Good on you
Congrats!! What’s the offer at meta ?
Were you on visa?
Yes
Congrats
Congratulations 🎉 So 560 TC?
Lol... Someone remember the number I was trying to avoid
Is ot E6? I would not join meta E6 as this TC
Congrats!
Congrats bro. You made the right choice.
I am choosing Meta but am still not sure. Meta stock is really high right now and any drop will bring my TC down whereas I think I can do much better in a medium size company like snowflake. Basically it's much easier to show the impact in smaller teams IMO. For longer term, I am inclined towards snowflake but offer and position is much better at Meta.
Don’t expect fast career growth at Snowflake. We are packed with senior+ ICs, and most people are just coding laborers on the assembly line, taking tickets from managers and PMs. It’s a completely top-down company, so forget about owning any area and receiving credit for business impact. You are only evaluated on the amount of work you deliver. On the comp/benefit front, we don’t offer guaranteed stock refreshers, and we have no 401k match. If the stock goes up by a lot, then you should expect 0 refresher regardless of how well you did. Surviving is not easy given our quarterly review system and the quick firing culture. The work-life balance is probably on par with the worst teams at Meta. With all that being said, it’s still a decently paid job under this market, but if you receive a Meta offer, I wouldn't hesitate for a second
