Over the past 3 years, they’ve had so many layoffs (plus voluntary attrition) that many products are left without subject matter expertise. Old code, no documentation and most products starved for 10+ years. Employees afraid to truthfully answer employee survey due to targeting of “negative” employees. Big suck up culture and some of the worst customer engagement scores in the industry. The last lay-off was within the last month—-many excellent long term employees were let go or demoted—-all levels. I left months ago. It’s such a relief to be out of there.

Owned by Vista. Except an IQ test to see where you would fit best

The new Chief People Officer came in and fired the entire HR team in order to give those jobs to some admins of lower wage countries. HR requests are now done through an online system, so the “human” part of HR is now gone. This year, she announced no raises for anyone, even if the company is doing good financially. Software and process are very bad. There is a reactive culture here where things just have to happen no matter what. People leave in droves and new employees come in to only get dissapointed within the first week.

It’s pretty dreadful. I echo the thoughts here and would add that this company is rudderless at the top. The tech is old and the executives in charge are either Vista stooges or in lifelong sinecures and will not be fired.
