What can a new grad (cs) who just got a backend job at an unknown startup in sf do to get into 2sigma or similar within a year to get very high tc? I went to a no name university, but my major gpa is 4.0 and I almost have a minor in Maths with all As. I have done 350+ LC mediums. I am graduating in a week. My first thought is to go to a very good school and finish a Bachelor in Maths after saving some money from the startup. This degree should take a year. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Build your own quant also on quantopisn and win
This is very good. Thanks
can I dm you?
Bachelor in Maths will not be particularly helpful.
What can I do to increase my chances? What looks most attractive on the resume for these fintechs?

Are tech workers as rich as they think we are?
Be good at programming. They wont care if you have another degree that would be a waste.
The problem is how would I land an interview there. If I got a degree from kets say Yale, my chances of getting an interview are much higher
Just get a referral. I got an interview after talking to a recruiter at a conference. 3.2 GPA from a decent school. (Bombed the onsite cause I did no LC lol)
