Fitbit dumpster fire

What is going on Fitbit? Over the last year quality has been constantly dropping. The iOS app has a ton of bugs, tons of people have problems with their Charge 3s (not syncing, black screen etc.). And then there’s the new premium service... With all the data that you have this has so much potential yet the insights it offers are pretty weak/shallow. I and many other years long customers want you to succed but it looks like you’re heading towards the end of the line...

I really have a question for fitbit employees. Why is your CEO such a gigantic dick? Why can't he step down or sell the company.

My ionic dies right after 1 year. Support offered a 25% off. Not gonna spend more money on this company

The new iOS app sucks balls. Might make me move to an Apple Watch after all these years of holding out.

You kind of answered your own question. Fitbit IS a dumpster fire. Attrition has been huge, and backfill isn't keeping up even if you ignore all of the institutional knowledge that's lost when someone leaves. In the land of matrices, their project management staff is OK to good but organizationally weak. The functional management is organizationally strong but fairly clueless with projects and people. Some good project leaders have left, but most of the weak functional and people managers are still there. Their market niche is shrinking and competition is growing. It's pretty bad all around.
