You have to update all options. 6-8 YOE are mostly sde3 and above. I'm sde2 with 4 YOE and fixed is more than 40.

Are stocks considered as fixed if it is a large chunk and if you are definitely going to get unlike performance bonus?
Fixed component consists of base pay + epf contribution. Stock and yearly bonus are part of variable pay.
Not always OP Unlike Walmart for example at Google, Microsoft For the first few years, stocks are actually fixed only. And won't change, and FAANG companies generally are very stock heavy in there compensation, so you wouldn't be able to. deduce anything with the above metric. Yearly TC is a more reliable metric i would say
