Just ranting here folks. I purchased a 75’ frame tv on Nov 26 off Samsungs website. As per the confirmation email - it was shipped on Dec 2 and was scheduled to be delivered on Dec 6. Thats it. Today is the 15th and there is no sign of the tv. Samsung has no clue where it is and has washed their hands off it passing the blame to the delivery service (AGS). They asked me to take it up directly with them (side rant: why the eff would you make a customer deal with your internal delivery partner?!) AGS is another clueless clusterfuck. They have no idea where the TV is except that they know its not lost and that they have no timeline on the delivery. This is an issue for me as I had also purchased handyman service via Samsung and have to pay a penalty for rescheduling (which Samsung is not refunding) TLDR, I am out of 3000 dollars and have no TV and no clue when it will get delivered and can’t return it. Any ideas on what I can do here? TC: 310k YOE: 8 years #Samsung #ags
Perform a chargeback on your credit card and let Samsung and ASG duke it out with them. You didn’t get the products and services you paid for, have no expectation of receiving them, and have no obligation to pay for them since you haven’t received them.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will do that..
Call your credit card company and dispute it.
Sept to Dec. Was it being shipped from South Korea? Also, why not just order via your employer?
I should have done that but they had a 30% discount on their website for black friday and I tempted by it :(
Don't rant here do it on twitter or some other public platform and tag Samsung
Yup. Thats a good idea. Sorry about ranting here. I had just got off the phone with their support and was super frustrated..

Next time, go to Best Buy or Video Only or just buy from Amazon. There’s a reason why Amazon is the only online shopping company that can beat brick and mortar stores.
Agreed. Lesson learnt. I only went via their website as they had a 30% discount.
If you’re in the Bay Area, go to Video Only. They will match anything online. The only catch is that you need to haul the tv back home yourself.
LG is even worse
Why don’t you raise a dispute with your Credit card company?
Will never buy any Korea product if I can find another non Korea one.
Yes
Make a claim through your credit card company
Thanks. I will do that.
