I do remember someone on blind mentioned real estate broker like redfin which charges flat fee commission. I forgot its name and I couldn't locate old post. If someone knows such broker, can please chime in?

You don't really save money. The buying agent still gets their percent.
You're basically paying a licensed broker to list on MLS which costs like $300 just for the MLS access, then you're basically on your own as a for sale by owner. All the other services are a la carte. Photos, photo listing, the system the use to schedule viewings, contracts, closing, all the broker to broker communications, that's on you. It's not really worth it.
