Flexporters, if you have have an offer from Google for the same TC. Would you take it? How bad is the turnover rate at Flexport? I’m considering applying there. In my opinion: I’m personally very positive about the Flexport’s future, considering revenue will probably grow from 5 to 6-7B this year and partnership with Shopify will only accelerate that growth to 10B in 2-3 years. In comparison, Flexport’s competitor Expeditor has 15B in revenue and 18B valuation. TC: 300k
I heard G is a good place to coast, which doesn't interest me (Flexport WLB is pretty good already), so assuming our eventual IPO pays off, I'm happy sticking with Flexport.
Why would u ask without atleast getting an interview
I got an interview
I worked at flexport a number of years ago (for reference my last job since then was staff at Meta). I’ll do you all a favor and save you some time. Flexport technology is trash. There is nothing revolutionary about it at all. It’s a slow ass web app with nice looking UI for internal planners, no different than any other freight forwarder out there. Slap on millions of dollars of marketing to make it look like a “Tech Startup.” My sources at the company today tell me little has changed. Anyone still spewing this drivel that Flexport is revolutionizing their technology has no idea what they’re talking about, and just drinking the Koolaid. You guys won’t IPO and you guys will never become bigger than you currently are, not unless you do something revolutionary. But the fact that you’ve been at that for 10 years, tells me you won’t. Avoid Flexport.
How many places did you post this? What's your deal?
Just sharing my perspective. That’s the point of this platform, or am I wrong?
Who cares about Flexport? The business sounds about as exciting as… shipping inventory management… oh wait!
Flexport is probably one of the few company hiring and the pay is on par with FAANG with high base. It’s not sexy but I think it might have a high upside. However, I was wrong about a lot of things. I used to think Blend Labs was gonna be big to
what do you define as a high base?
