I just saw a tweet by the Flexport founder and current CEO rescinding all 70 signed offers the company made under the recently-fired CEO, Dave. This is nuts! What’s going on at Flexport???
Bro is the one that’s messed up
If this happened to me, I would warn people away from the company for the rest of my career. I may not have much power, but I'll do what I can to ensure these companies have negative repercussions for once when they do stuff like this.
There will be no negative repercussions, as they'll just find someone else to hire. Tech companies are back in the driving seat, and they're flexing their muscles. The (desired) Grindr 45% RTO attrition event is just one example of this.
Dude, you work at Amazon. Maybe take down the righteousness by a couple of notches 😁
If you are the CEO and don’t know what’s going on in your company, maybe you should be rescinded first?
Flexport is a toxic cesspool
Old CEO, an Amazon executive, was PIPed
Most of people hired in flex port is amazon . They hired each other to sink flex port .
This is a riveting friday read. Right out of a Silicon Valley episode Sorry for the folks affected, this is unacceptable.
Dumb amazon executive only knows how to expand expand expand by burning money from other places. Guess what happens when they don’t have aws and retail for support.
Unions are the only thing that ever got us better labor laws and benefits. 1. 8 hour days 2. 2 day weekend 3. Workplace safety 4. Paid time off Americans used to do 996 like some other countries today.
Tangent but, yet ironically America is the poster child of capitalism and that "other country" is communist.
I was in a labor union for awhile. It was horribly corrupt, incumbents used union funds to sue potential candidates for leadership to scare them off, etc.
A garbage company does garbage things. Flexport inherited a lot of the toxicity from Amazon, and now it’s starting to govern a lot of their anti-worker practices. Just another company to avoid joining. TC: 105K
Ryan - CEO of Flexport Also Ryan - I have no ideas why more than 75 people were signed to join
He only joined back yesterday, all the new hires were under the old CEO
Good to know the CEO doesn’t know how to ask a question and announces this on Twitter, Flexport seems like it has a bright future
