Got 2 offers for Senior SWE - Flexport - 228K (Base) + 22.8K (Bonus) + 160K RSU/year (Not IPO yet) - Seattle Hubspot - 245K (Base) + $0 (Bonus) + 75K RSU/year (Public Company) - Remote YOE: 12 Current CTC ~ $265K (Laid-Off) [Not at LendingClub currently] Which one to go for? #flexport #hubspot #review #offer **Updated offer from Hubspot.
Flexport = upside Hubspot = WLB Flexport offer seems a bit low, I was offered 170k base + 100k RSU for SWE II at 2 YOE
WLB š
Is it for senior software engineer 1 or 2? Can you share me how was the interview procedure?
dont go to hubspot, they have a cutthroat culture, they also always ask you for estimate on your tasks, so you are always under pressure to deliver. stress will be very high.
HubSpot WLB is changing. Not like it used to be, more pressure on pushing out code these days
Yep. Iām stressed the fuck out in this company.
I'm expecting an offer from HubSpot. PIPspot, can you tell me more please? Is this generally the case? Or is it team dependent?
Dont go to flexport. Its not worth it
Hubspot easily if you care about wlb and culture. I interviewed at both and think hubspot seems to have a much better culture whereas flexport has too many Amazon type workaholics (though my interviewer was very friendly). Check glassdoor and blind reviews as well Obviously if you're in a place in life where you want to grind then flexport is the way to go because of that TC. Congrats OP!
160k number of shares, or is the value 160k? Recruiters provide incorrect valuation at $14/share
approached recently by recruiters, HubSpot being in that list. Really wondered about them.
Congrats. I would take Hubspot. How was the interview at both
