- MS Aerospace engineer - 5 yoe in avionics industry as Systems software engineer building autopilots for fixed wings and light weight rotocrafts. - 2 yoe as Flight Test Engineer The avionics startup was shut down due to low funding. I am open to space companies but Spacex and Blue Origin don’t sponsor visas. Any help with referral is appreciated. I am on H1B visa and have around 60 days to find a new job. Thanks in advance.
Just DM'd you a referral link to Moog Aircraft Group. I remember I saw some software/test positions available. Check them out. Good luck!
How do you like it at Moog? Are you based in the blacksburg office?
No am in CA. I like it. Quiet chill and a nice team to work with.
If you see any opportunities at Collins Aerospace and there should be many, I can send you a referral link. Good luck!
That will be a great help! Thanks!!
DM me for Boeing referral. Just make sure at the bottom it doesn’t say it’s for US Citizens only
Does Boeing sponsor H1B visa?
According to h1bdata.info yes they do, but only 20 in the year 2019
I am in a very similar situation and honestly I gave up and am moving to tech. I think you'll find that all the interesting positions require green card or even citizenship and a security clearance. I am in HW though, maybe SW is a little more lenient. Good luck!
I believe PrimeAir, Wing, loon, kitty hawk and other drone companies should be fine as they're commercial. Why not diversify your skills, I think you can use them at any autopilot companies, waymo, Tesla, cruise, Uber, Ford, Aurora. There are many..
